Alex Pinchevsky

From Fair Lawn, NJ. He graduated with an economics degree from Rutgers University and is currently working for AIG, one of the world's largest insurance companies in New York City. Pinch has been playing guitar for almost 3 years. His influences include Green Day, The Offspring, Lit, and Eve 6 among others. Pinch's strongpoint is his writing of lyrics and strong structure.

Here’s what Pinch has to say:

“Hello Everyone.  I just  love writing songs and putting them together.  I just sit on the train or at home and write lyrics.  When I am just sitting around and playing guitar and I play a chord progression that I like, then I write it down.  The rest is mix and match.  The greatest part of having a band is after I write a song…I bring it to the rest of the band…and they really make the song.  It’s just great how a song comes together and is completed. 

I know that we are a really good band, and have some really good songs.  I think out trademark is the catchyness of our songs.  I want people singing along to my lyrics.  All I ever ask of anyone is to come check out a show.  We have good energy and stage presence, therefore allowing a lot of people to have a really good time at our shows.  Just come check us out while we’re still a local band.  We don’t plan on stopping, and I know that we are good enough to make it to the top.  See you at the show!”
